Beehive quilling technique :-)

This is my second paper quilling project. I learnt this beehive quilling technique through the tutorial of Pritesh Ananth Krishnan. My idea behind this project has been inspired by this blog http://papercraftss.blogspot.in/2013/01/quilled-flowers.html . I hope you guys like it :-).

Another miniature flower pot

 Flower pots are beautiful. Aren't they ? These beautiful  pots could make your home look fresh and lively .The natural fragrance of flowers reduces the stress level to a significant extent. They also reduce harmful toxins from the air in confined spaces.Did you knew that a humble pot plant can remove urban air pollutants by up to 75% within 24 hours ? So I think one should have at least ten such plants at their home. 

 Now lets talk about the quilling part. I would like to thanks yoyomax for her awesome tutorial on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPb4naH4YmE (quilled miniature plants-Hyacinths). So if you guys want to make one such flower pot then just go through this video.Its very simple and trust me its not complicated. So watch this video and make one such pot for yourself or gift it to some of your friends or family members.They will love it. And do send me its pic if you make one;-)

My first paper quilling project

 This piece will always be very close to my heart as its my first quilling project. And this is the first pic that I have posted on my very first blog .I have been doing paper quilling for past 6 months. For your information I would like to tell you that I prefer to cut my own quilling strips .When i did this project i had no quilling tool I used a toothpick to roll the quilling strips. I hope you like it. Enjoy..!!
